Liminganlahti Nature Centre offers information about the Liminganlahti area and its birdlife. Liminka Bay will inspire even beginners to embark on an exploration into the enchanting world of birds!
Exhibitions
In the main exhibition, The Eight Seasons of Birds, the beauty of birds dazzles! The exhibition introduces you to the passage of the year from the perspective of birds. The main focus is on the diverse birdlife of Liminganlahti, but at the same time it also examines the life of birds in general.
Multimedia presentation
Life in Liminka Bay -multimedia presentation tells about the Liminka Bay wetland area and its birdlife. Presented when the auditorium is free. Groups are advised to book the presentation in advance at: myyntipalvelu@liminganlahti.fi

Accessibility
There is an access ramp leading to the main entrance of the Nature Center. The main door opens automatically. A wheelchair can be borrowed from the Nature Center for the duration of your visit. The building has an accessible restroom.
The exhibition space is accessible.
The restaurant is also accessible, and the hotel has one accessible hotel room.
There are two designated accessible parking spaces in the parking area.

There is an accessible toilet in the courtyard of the Nature Center that can be used when the Nature Center and the restaurant are closed. Please remember to bring your own toilet paper!
The lower platform of the nearby Virkkula birdwatching tower is accessible. The tower is about 600 meters away along an accessible route. Please note, the route to the bird tower is not accessible during winter.
